I don't have a massive head, but even so, most beanies on the market are too tight for any serious use. Over days on end of wearing, they pinch your hair and don't allow you to stay warm because they limit your circulation. The backcountry beanie from himali has the prefect fit. It can be worn for weeks comfortably because it doesn't squeeze your head. The material is soft and stays put in spite of the looser fit. It's long enough and loose enough to roll down over your eyes for sleeping in your tent for extra warmth or on long flights as an eyeshade. If you roll it up 2-3 times, it works great around town. Truly a great piece of gear.
